Ricky Needs a Good Home
This is Ricky (short for Tumeric). He's a stray who makes his home in the compound of our apartment. We've been feeding him for a few weeks now but as you can see, he's still kinda skinny. I suspect that's because he's not always around when we leave food out for him and sometimes other cats get to his food first.
Ricky is a sweetie. When we feed him, he'd rub his cheeks on our feet and end up rolling over on his back for us to scratch his chest. He also likes to have his head scratched. Sometimes he'd wait for us around the time we usually feed him and meows in greeting. He often sleeps under cars and collects streaks of motor oil on his ears, body and paws. We try to wipe these streaks off when we can because if he swallows the oil when grooming himself, he will end up getting poisoned.
Ricky sleeps rough: under cars in the midday heat, and goodness know where when it rains. We're planning to grab him this weekend and bundle him off to the vet. We'd love to adopt him but we've already four cats in our 850 square foot apartment and there simply isn't enough space, especially since Cory needs his own room.
We think Ricky will make an excellent companion animal for anybody who's willing to offer him a Good Home. Is anybody willing to give him the chance?
