Some Updates
Pepa is back to normal like she never fell down. She's as naughty as ever, if not more and has emerged as the matriach of the Spice Meow troop.
As expected, there have been no takers for Damon and he has joined the Spice Meow troop if only as an outcast and together with Tammy occupy the supposed laundry area.
Nutmeg is big, fat and cuddly, now outsizing Cory and even Ginger the former title holder of "Big Fat Orange". Cory's still with us, sweet, slim, meowy, sneezy and watery-eyed. It turns out he's our favourite cat and we hope he lives a long, long time, FIV notwithstanding.
Saffron's still slightly bigger than Nutmeg, despite his under-privileged kittenhood. He's more confident now but Damon picks on him and Ginger comes to his rescue.
Tammy is plump and affectionate but Ginger and Nutmeg enjoy teasing her so she just stays at the laundry area or on top of a bookcase.
Subang Jaya has a new ADUN (representative to the the state legislative assembly). And Selangor has a new Government. Let's hope there's a better future for the strays too.
Like Summer Sky the tiny white kitten I found on Valentine's day. He weighed almost nothing when I picked him up and spent a week with the vets. When I brought him to PAWS, I was asked to foster him cos he was too young to be vaccinated. If they didn't vaccinate him, he'd probably catch something in the crowded shelter and have to be put down. So grandma is fostering him right now, and he has no fear of grandma's two dogs.
So many pathetic stray animals, so little hope for them. Sigh.
