Success (of sorts) at Last.
Remember Latte the Valentine kitten? He was being fostered by mumsie. Having grown into a handsome fella with blue eyes and himlayan markings, a neighbour took a fancy to him. Neighbour's kid really took a fancy to him. Mumsie was more than pleased to have neighbour have him. Only problem: kid's mum wasn't crazy about having a kitten clamber all about her immaculate house. Result: Latte got given away to cat-crazy friend. Only problem: Latte got given away before we could neuter him... Grrr. I just hope cat-crazy friend will know the right thing to do.
Then there was Blossom. She is the sweetest kitty in the world. I came across her when taking baby for a walk around the complex. She was meowing for her nominal owner to come feed her. There were empty plastic containers about. For the next few days we saw her on and off and when she was around, she'd come greet us. I noted also that nominal owner left out offal which another cat was trying to eat. Except that piece of stuff was about twice the length of cat. And the stuff was raw. Then one day, Blossom didn't have any food and owner didn't seem to be in and plastic containers had been put away. So we took her to the good vet. A client of theirs came by, and took to Blossom immediately. We don't blame him. She is SO pretty and sweet. Bye-bye, Blossom, We hope your new owner will love you and care for you properly. I'm just sorry we couldn't keep her.
P.s. Vets neutered Blossom before releasing her to new owner.
