Saffron, Suddenly Sullen
Something's wrong with Saffron the special needs cat. He's acting weird, refusing his diarrhoea diet (boiled chicken breast), crouching in dark corners and refusing to respond to his name. He has also stopped meowing for food and sayang. All this after he was starting to get along with the Original Spice Meows, save for the occasional hissing and staring competition with Pepa.

We've been trying to figure out what it was that spooked him. Was it his first encounter with the vacuum cleaner? The anti-diarrhoea medicine we've only recently started feeding him? The leg bath we gave him after he stepped on his poo? We're baffled. Then this morning Gravitas discovered that whilst he refused to eat boiled chicken breast, he greedily gobbled up dry kitty kibbles. We'd been advised to hold off on those and feed him only boiled chicken breast with bread or rice until the diarrhoea cleared. Oh well, at least he's eating. But he's still hiding in dark corners.
